8/26/08 - I was just in the process of doing some planning for a nica trip and noticed that Big Foot adventures no longer exits. I did some research and it turns out that the place was sold, and all trips cancelled. People are waiting to see if they start the tours up again… Might be a good opportunity for an entrepreneur to come in and scoop up some tourist dollars. If anyone knows if they or someone else is up and running again, let me know.

I have a lease on Machapa . 19 manzanas , 530 m beachfront .
yes a beautiful beach , but the estuary has a lot of potential also . you look to be close to a property I sold on the beach . it has a small river running into the ocean and seems to have the only access to the beach as it is all cliffs north of it . just 5 minutes north of Machapa . I am about 3km south of Machapa on the beach , there on the 8th of Sept.

I really enjoyed your blog about investment frauds and the signs to look for. As a professional investor I have been “offered” many “opportunities” and have learned the hard way that the best way to make a sound invenstment is through proper education. No haste, spend lots of time working with the investment managers, ask 101 questions and check your senses with a qualified lawyer and accountant.

I was out of town for a few weeks.
Thanks for the response. I am betting that the upturn will occur in 2010 when Daniel Ortega’s Presidency is nearly over and investors are again reassured that he has not done any irreparable harm to the country and / or the investors currently doing business in Nicaragua.

I will keep checking your blog.
